Changelog
A log of regulatory updates, checklist changes, and site updates. We record both content changes (when a checklist item is revised to reflect a regulatory update) and site changes (new pages, new features). This log is evidence that the site is actively maintained.
May 2026
- Site relaunched with named author, editorial policy, and trust layer. Added Terms of Service, Disclaimer, Cookie Policy, and Editorial Policy pages.
- Cookie consent banner upgraded to Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics and advertising now require explicit opt-in.
- All six compliance checklists updated with author bylines and last-verified dates.

- SOC 2 checklist re-verified against AICPA Trust Services Criteria 2017 (updated 2022).
- ADA / WCAG checklist re-verified against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and U.S. DOJ Title II web accessibility rule published March 2024.

- GDPR checklist re-verified against gdpr-info.eu. Added reference to EDPB enforcement trend on consent dark patterns.
- PCI DSS checklist updated to reflect PCI DSS v4.0 requirements effective April 2024.
- HIPAA checklist updated to reflect HIPAA Security Rule update published January 2025 (HHS NPRM).
- CCPA checklist updated to reflect CPPA enforcement actions and 2024 implementing regulations.
- Site launched with six compliance checklists, compliance quiz, and PDF export.
